Job Description: QC Manager

We are searching for a methodical and motivated QC Manager to join our quickly growing team!

 

A QC Technician works together on the production floor with QA Management, production management, and sanitation to ensure compliance with quality standards and food safety practices, including respecting HACCP, HARPC, SQF, and FDA regulations. 

         Apply standards and methodology to comply with SOPs, HACCP, HARPC, GMP, and SQF

         Conduct routine audits and compile assessment documents based on findings

         Review comprehensive QA and Sanitation plans, and ensure their implementation on a day-to-day basis

         Perform daily pre-flight checklist, and report any findings to the applicable department heads

         Take temperature of ovens regularly and perform calibration to thermometers and scales

         Oversee Quality Control technicians in their daily operations 

 

Requirements:

         At least 2-4 years in Food QA/QC

         Experience with SQF/GFSI requirements

         Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP/HARPC

         Ability to work on the production floor, including standing for extended periods of time
