You Will:

  • Designing and executing various sensory and perception tests. Data generated will be used to inform product, process, package design and product quality.
  • Assist and then lead new sensory and perception method development.                               
  • Write standard operating procedures, organize data, and document test results.
  • Analyze data, make recommendations and write reports.
  • Screen, train, and schedule sensory panelists.
  • Prepare samples for training panelists and for sensory and consumer testing.
  • Maintain stocks of food components, ingredients, and supplies.
  • Ensure lab cleanliness, safety, and organization to support the broader team.
  • Acting as a sensory taster, undergoing continuous learning and improvement.

You Have:

  • S. degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, Experimental Psychology or a related field.
  • 1 - 3 yearsí work experience in a laboratory.
  • Enthusiasm for science, and self-motivated to make significant contributions in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated data collection and experiment reporting skills.
  • Full written and verbal fluency in English.
  • Comfortable with experimental design, data interpretation, and presentation.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and collaborative mindset.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot issues and provide training when applicable.
  • Must be a self-starter who can work independently and within a team environment.
