miles north of Houston Texas.

Responsibilities: Co-ordinate, develop, implement
and revise policies and practices relating to the Certified Food Safety
System Revise, validate and log changes to Food Safety Fundamentals (GMP
or Prerequisite Programs) and Food Safety (HACCP) Plans that have an
impact on the company's ability as well as Suppliers’ ability to deliver
safe, quality food.
Complete Food Safety System reviews and report to
Senior Management.
Work with management to schedule and conduct
quarterly internal audits.
Complete records and on-site verification's as
outlined in Programs Verify programs and personnel performing tasks where
applicable.
Stay abreast of all reviews and reasons for amending
documents, validations and changes to the Certified Food Safety System
Responsible for Supplier Food Safety Assessments.
Experience: Formal training/Certifications in
Food Safety Systems development and monitoring.
Minimum 4 years
experience within the food manufacturing industry - Dairy
& RTE experience an asset. At least 1 year
experience in a scientific laboratory.
Superior interpersonal & organizational skills
required to facilitate project and enhance inter-departmental
interactions.
Good time management with strong administrative skills.
Knowledge of the USA FDA, Food and Drugs Act
Knowledge of Texas Department of Health regulations'
Knowledge of Nutritional requirements an asset
Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and other Health
& Safety regulations and policies.
MUST be proficient in difficult
audits for SQF, etc.
MUST be Certified as a SQF Level III
Practitioner
MUST be HACCP Certified.
