Food Safety and Quality Assurance Coordinator - Arbuckle, CA

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma Minimum
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • 3+ years experience in food production
  • 3+ years in quality/lab function related to food production
  • HACCP Certified preferred
  • SQF Practitioner preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Aid Adams Vegetable Oils Laboratory with regards to product blends
  • Aid Adams Group Food Safety & QA Manager in maintaining food safety and quality assurance documentation
  • Complete various customer required documentation relating to food safety
  • Aid in development of QA and QC best practices
  • SOP writing and amending as needed
  • Assist with third party audit organization and completion
  • Documentation of audits and control of documents
  • Monthly internal audits of plant
  • Other food safety and HACCP projects as needed
  • Aid in R&D as needed
  • Environmental Monitoring (monthly swabbing of Packing Plant)
  • Collecting Monthly Drinking Water Samples
  • Making Oil Additive Forms for any oils needing additives
  • Special Projects as assigned
  • Perform verification and validation of duties of Food Safety Prerequisite Programs as needed
  • The Food Safety & QA Manager shall cover for the absence of the Food Safety & Quality Coordinator.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00 to $53,000.00 /year

Experience:

  • Food Production: 3 years (Preferred)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

License:

  • HACCP Certification (Preferred)
