Reporting to the
Director of Quality, this position is responsible for assisting compliance
oversight of 5 manufacturing plants (working with Plant QA/QC Managers),
overseeing Corporate Supplier and Co-Packer food safety and quality, auditing
internal and external manufacturing sites to measure compliance with
policies and programs, identifying the key risk attributes for each
manufacturing site and working with local operations and QA/QC managers on
initiatives for reducing risk, as well as overseeing implementation and
maintenance of all Corporate QA Systems documentation. The position will
interface with senior management.
- Review Food Safety and
Quality documentation for supplier approval
- Review Facilities Internal
GMP audits for trends and best practices
- Review Corporate QA SOPs for
compliance with SQF, FDA and customer compliance
- Review Facilities Consumer
complaints for trends
- Review Facilities Hold Logs
for trends and supplier issues
- Review Facilities Raw
Materials testing results for trends and supplier issues
- Review random selections of
documentation for audit compliance
- Perform annual quality
systems audit of all facilities per SQF compliance requirement

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science,
Food Safety or related field with at least 7+ years of experience.
