We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, flexible individual, who is interested in joining a very successful and rapidly growing company. In this important role your responsibilities will include:

Job Description/Responsibilities :

  • Ensure compliance with all “Good Manufacturing Processes” in a food processing environment
  • Manage processes that meet corporate and customer quality assurance requirements
  • Ensure FDA and USDA standards requirements are documented and compliance is maintained
  • Prepares reports on inspections, compliance attainment and corrective actions
  • Design quality assurance training programs that meet the needs for the entire facility
  • Conduct training with employees to transfer knowledge of their requirements for QA compliance
  • Ensure HACCP standards are followed and documentation compliance is verified
  • Monitor processing procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Prepare monthly quality assurance reports
  • Analyze and interpret numerical data and perform basic financial analysis.
  • Facilitate uniform quality standards for food safety.
  • Ensure sanitation requirements are maintained in all areas of the facility via periodic audits.
  • Ensure compliance of Corporate Foodservice Standards.
  • Participates in continuous improvement efforts.
  • Other Responsibilities and duties will include, but not be limited to:
  • Knowledge of internal policies and procedures
  • Competent to work independently within area of expertise
  • Ability to solve quality related problems
  • Ability to deal with a variety of compliance situations and implement continuous improvement.
  • Knows and follows all safety requirements; strives to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Effectively gives and receives feedback; willingly asks questions and seeks direction, as needed.
  • Must be able to function within a team environment.
  • Performs tasks under general supervision.
  • Qualifications
  • Minimum of a B.A./B.S. degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Food Service experience required
  • A minimum of 4-5 years supervising a Food Quality & Safety function
  • USDA and Seafood HACCP Certified
  • Knowledge of Food Industry quality and sanitation standards and requirements
  • Candidate bilingual in English and Chinese a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, specifically in ExcelDETAILS * Location: Denver (I-70 and Peoria) * Shift: (6 AM -- 3:30 AM) Salaried position DOE / benefits package including Paid Time Off, medical, dental and vision benefits, 401K plan and future growth opportunities within the company.Job Type: Full-time
