Prepare and review Food Safety Plans and HACCP plans
for a variety of FDA regulated food products. Research and draft technical
(food safety and regulatory) documents/reports in response to client needs.
Prepare and execute food safety/FSMA presentations. Function as a member of
cross-departmental teams and projects as requested. Prepare and review
other FSMA related reports and services (i.e. Food Defense, FSVP, etc.) for
foreign and domestic clients. Participate in the process of upgrading
internal technical manuals and procedures. Interact via phone/email with
clients in the US and overseas. This position reports directly to the
Director of Food Safety.
- BA/BS or higher in Food
Science, Food Microbiology, Food Chemistry or related degree.
- Working knowledge of FDA CGMP's
(21 CFR 117).
- Working knowledge of HACCP.

Other desirable qualifications : bilingual, broad
knowledge/experience of various food-processing operations via training or
work experience, HACCP certifications, and PCQI certification.
