Twang Partners is a family owned San Antonio, Texas
based firm specializing in the manufacture of a variety of flavored salts
and sugars for the adult beverage industry. Our products are
one-of-a-kind high-quality spice blends that enhance the drinking as well
as the eating experience.
The Food Science intern will be working with the
R&D Manager and a Food Scientist on a daily basis. The intern will be
trained in the areas of laboratory dry blending and filling, storage
testing, flavor evaluation, color blending and sample maintenance. The
intern will also be exposed to other areas of operation in Quality and
Production as they relate to Research and Development.
Candidates need to be in the San Antonio Texas area.
Education and Skill Requirements:
BS in Food Science or Food Technology or upper-level
course work in a Food Science program. Course work in alternate science
program such as Chemistry is also acceptable.
Must be able to manage data on paper and electronically
with good documentation skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office package.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to interact well with co-workers, business
partners and vendors.
Assist Twang Food Scientists in dry blending and
filling, storage testing, flavor evaluation, color blending and sample
