The Food Technician will assist a team of scientist and engineers in the development of numerous product types such as powder blends, aseptically processed foods, bars etc. The Food Technologist will assist in conducting experiments, collecting/analyzing data, and running/maintaining a Microthermics UHT unit, as well as maintaining lab and pilot plant ingredient inventories and conducting shelf life assessments.

What we're specifically looking for

o    Must be fun.

o    Must be a self-starter, able to execute plans with minimal support.

o    Able to work under deadlines in a fast paced environment.

o    Must be organized and able to manage routines and schedules.

o    Solid communication skills - comfortable asking clarifying questions when uncertain.

 

Education & Experience

o    Minimum: Associates Degree in Food Science/Technology or related field. Bachelors degree preferred.

o    Knowledge of food ingredient functionality and food processing unit operations.
