pastry, strudels, muffin batters and breads supplying the Food Service,
Retail and In-Store Bakery, C-Stores and Travel and Leisure channels.
Responsible to ensure compliance to company quality and food safety
policies and federal, state, and local regulatory requirements to include
the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).
Ensures compliance to company quality procedures, ingredient
specifications, process control specifications and finished product
Assists in developing and improving the company’s overall Food Safety and
Quality objectives, Food Safety, Food Defense Plan and BRC Audits in
conjunction with the HACCP / HARPC Programs.
Write, update and validate quality processes and procedures by establishing
product specifications, quality attributes, and conformance to
Documentation and record keeping, drive continuous quality improvement,
investigate customer complaints, QA tech scheduling, staff training and
perform quality audits at supplier facilities as needed. Reports
to: QA Manager.
BS degree or equivalent in related field.
2+ years’ of related experience.
HACCP, SQF, BRC, AIB experience and / or certification.
Knowledge of FSMA, HACCP / HARCP, cGMPs, and OSHA
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control,
conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to
evaluate quality or performance.
