Job Description

Responsible to lead and support quality activities such as, but not limited to: quality integrations, assure compliance and regulations. Provide Guidance, support, analysis and risk management reviews.
Understand, interpret and follow policies, practices and procedures that govern work in a quality and/or regulated environment. Create and sustain a collaborative work environment across all functions and levels.
Problem solving capability. Able to search and apply alternative solutions. Able to prioritize and follow up.
Ability to understand and manage quality and/or compliance tasks. Makes recommendations for action plans to manage risk. Maintains plant HACCP data. Responsible for maintaining quality aspects of production system, ensuring finished product release, control and traceability are maintained. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or Biology.
3 to 5 years’ experience in Food Safety, Quality, Production, or Project Management in the food industry.
Excellent communication skills and strict attention to detail will be keys to success in this role.
Proficient with Microsoft Office in addition to knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
Experience with FSMA requirement including Food Safety Plans, Food Safety Audit expectations and requirements.
Comprehensive knowledge of USDA, hazard analysis critical control point (HACCP), and sanitation standard operating.
Safety Food Quality (SQF) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) certifications, highly desirable.
PCQI Certification, highly desirable.
