  • Responsible for all aspects of Food Safety, Quality Control, SQF requirements, and Sanitation Programs – keeping all programs current according to regulations and current best manufacturing practices. Maintaining established library of all official reports and records for company’s proof of documentation for plant inspections and/or audits.
  • Lead company’s pursuit of SQF certification - As Practitioner, establishes the training needs of personnel to assure employees have the necessary knowledge of duties that affect food safety, legality, and quality
  • Write and implement HACCP plan, Pre-requisite programs and GMP procedures
  • Manage sanitation personnel – Updating requirements when needed and implement Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures as needed
  • Lead Food Safety, Business Continuity, Crisis Management, and Environmental Monitoring Programs
  • Handle all aspects of food manufacturer’s quality control and assurance
  • Able to communicate with inspectors/auditors to ensure company standards are maintained
  • Assume other duties as assigned

Required experience:

  • Degree in Food Science preferred, HACCP & SQF Practitioner certification preferred: 1 year
