We are looking for a Product Manager who is an integral part of SROriginals by ensuring new items are built and launched successfully, ensuring existing items are documented accurately, and acting as a liaison between Production, Commercialization, Sales, Accounting, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain and Innovation & Development. One must have a flexible schedule during pilot runs when production is down and expect that there will be a lot of people/departments leaning on them.

Duties & Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Managing the development of a product throughout the entire life cycle.
  • Effectively communicating product details and expectations to all department management in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Coordinating several projects simultaneously between departments.
  • Monitoring new products on an ongoing basis, including identifying and resolving issues and conflicts.
  • Proactively managing changes in scope, identifying potential crises, and devising contingency plans.
  • Tracking pricing requests from start to finish and continually looking for opportunities to remove costs.
  • Tracking customer requests from start to finish.
  • Reviewing, approving, and issuing documentation and formulas.
  • Creating and approving labels.
  • Supporting Innovation & Development department during pilot runs.


  • Bachelorís Degree in Food, Science, or Culinary studies.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years as Product Developer or Product Manager in food industry.
  • Basic level Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook, required.
  • Advanced reading and writing skills; ability to create both written and verbal reports, essential.
  • Must have a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment.
  • Must have a flexible schedule which will accommodate various production schedules.
  • Must be able to work independently and problem solve.
  • Performs assignments in accordance with established GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) policies and procedures.


  • Previous food manufacturing or development experience.
