The Food Safety Administratorís primary responsibility is to assist with the Food Safety, Quality System, and Safety Programs, all programs within and everything it entails. The Food Safety Administrator is also responsible for assisting in all aspects of monitoring and verification activities for HACCP, SQF, and other food safety and quality programs. This team member must have sufficient knowledge and understanding of food safety and quality assurance systems, their purpose, and the importance of maintaining these programs. The team member must be confident and capable of working within a Quality team structure handling daily assignments both independently and interdepartmentally between quality assurance and production team members

  • The Food Safety Administratorís primary responsibility is to assist with the Food Safety, Quality System and Safety Programs, all programs within and everything it entails.
  • Assist the Food Safety Manager in all third party, second party, and internal audits.
  • Report any instances where discipline or retraining is necessary to management, prior to taking action
  • Must assist in keeping the facilities Food Safety certification valid and up to date.
  • Maintain electronic and hard copies of all facility certifications and documentation
  • Assist the Food Safety Manager with internal and external Corrective Actions and everything it entails.
  • Assist the Food Safety Manager in recording and trending customer complaints. Participate in investigations and complete CAPA reports.
  • Conduct internal audits at a minimum of once a year
  • Maintain Food Safety Plans up to date
  • Own the document control register by reviewing and updating any document changes
  • Annual review of the entire Food Safety Manual (electronically and/or hard copies)
  • Along with the Food Safety Manager conduct a management review on all programs and documents within the Food Safety Program according the Management Review SOP between the months of June and September
  • Oversee water testing on all water used in our sanitation program according to the Water Testing SOP between the months of June and August
  • Must be able to comply with any rules and regulations set by the company
