HACCP Food Safety Coordinator - Menlo Park, CA

As a representative for our company, the HACCP Coordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance with the HACCP program. HACCP Coordinator is a vigilant to eliminate or reducing product and safety hazards. You will record monitoring information on CCP recording documents and report to appropriate department head.

Essential Functions * Checks freezers, refrigerators, hot serving stations, food holding stations, cooling stations, soups, salad bars daily to ensure temperature, environmental, and product safety

  • Checks for FIFO and product labeling of dry, wet, and prepared items
  • Will complete daily temperature logs and provide daily recap reports for all cafes and food stations
  • Will enforce all safety practices and ensure all employees are wearing proper PPE, issue PPE when needed
  • Report safety hazards immediately
  • Responsible for Safe Quality Food (SQF), HACCP, CCP tasks, sanitation and all support program implementation
  • Supervisory personnel may assign other duties as required

Education and Work Experience * Culinary Degree or Related Degree preferred

  • 3 years minimum experience in related field
