Position Overview:

As a member of our Rotational Career Development Program (RCDP), you will develop and leverage competencies in a variety of cross-functional areas focused around our Research & Development team.

 

This program is specifically designed to provide you with the experiences and tools needed to successfully grow within our culture, ultimately preparing you for future leadership roles at Johnsonville.

 

You will complete three rotations over an 18-24 month period, being exposed to a variety of experiences within cross-functional areas of focus.  Some potential rotations both inside and outside R&D include product development, food safety quality, operations, marketing, finance and  other possible areas. Each rotation offers robust assignments highlighting the functional requirements and processes across Johnsonville. 

 

At the successful conclusion of the development program, participants will be placed in a role at Johnsonville based on the participant’s strengths and business needs.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Food Science, Animal Science, or a related field received by May 2018

 

Experience:

  • Prior related internship experience required
  • Prior leadership experience preferred

 

Skills and Competencies:

  • Solid communication skills (verbal, written, listening)
  • The ability to interact with integrity with all levels of customers and members
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office and the use of social media
  • English/Spanish multi-lingual preferred
  • Demonstrated self-development
  • Action oriented, with the ability to set priorities and achieve goals
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity

 

Other Requirements:

  • 3.0 GPA preferred
