for a Food Technologist to join our team! This position reports to
Senior Research and Development Project Manager and will have the opportunity
to work with team members across the globe. Our ideal candidate will be

professionalism. This position will be located in our corporate office
in West Chester, PA.
role provides strong scientific & technical guidance to team members and
supports projects to deliver innovative and competitive products / processes
in response to business and consumer needs.
responsibilities include formulation and bench-top work, physical/analytical
testing, pilot plant runs, plant trials and associated documentation of
experiments, specification creation, and some project management tasks.
Mandatory GMP and safety document creation are also responsibilities of this

Working in partnership with the Sr. R&D Managers,
responsible for managing small projects, bench-top product development, and
all related commercialization activities. Conduct tests, with or
without the assistance of technical staff, and record observations and data,
including transcribing information to computer records and discussing
results/recommendations with Sr. R&D Project Managers.
Creates culinary samples in the Test Kitchen. Maintains accurate
and complete records of testing, assisting Pilot Plant Manager in maintaining
paperwork and documentation for USDA programs and Keystone FSQ programs.
Schedules weekly project activities in Test Kitchens and
coordinates with Pilot Plant staff on: Pilot Plant schedule, job planning,
scheduling, coordination of ingredients and equipment, communication with
Project Managers and support staff. Prepares product for sensory panels and
presentation to customers and Keystone management.
Organizes and maintains the Test Kitchens. Assists with
the sanitation and maintenance of the Test Kitchens.
Manages ingredient and raw material inventories, orders
replacement ingredients, organizes and maintains storage areas. Ships samples
Drive innovation within the Keystone organization, including
process re-engineering, elimination of waste, and optimization of current
candidates will have:
A BS in Food Science, Meat Science, Poultry Science, Culinary,
Food Engineering, Food Chemistry or related field
Preferred is a MS, Culinary Degree in Food Science, Meat Science,
Poultry Science, Culinary, Food Engineering, Food Chemistry or related field
1-3 years of experience (including internships) in the food
Microsoft Office skills and competency with nutritional software
database and internet research.
Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced

discretion and decision making to achieve organizational objectives, with an ability to problem solve and facilitate solutions with limited
