We currently have an immediate opportunity for a Food Technologist, Beverages
in our Anaheim, California location.
SCOPE: Manage/Coordinate flavor applications and associated technical
support of diverse project initiatives for the Beverage category
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Include but not limited to;
Develop application bases to showcase Firmenich
flavors and technologies in beverage products
Actively participate on technical selling team to develop strategic
relationships and customer intimacy for customers on the West Coast
Project management - Manage briefs and champion required actions to meet
Autonomously plan and execute day to day project and lab activities
Participate in work sessions with clients
Maintain an organized, clean and safe laboratory environment.
Facilitate lab maintenance, building and environmental safety standards as
Create new beverage product concepts based on trends for proactive
Keep abreast of technical knowledge in terms of ingredients, formulations and
processes relating to beverage products
High level of “proficiency" with Firmenich
tools for communication and project systems
Leverage internal and external resources to bring insight, expertise and
efficiency into project executions
Establish and maintain network of pertinent working relationships with
Deliver presentations in a technical capacity to clients as required
Maintain knowledge of West Coast beverage client’s strategies, brands and
Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science/Science/Science Technology or equivalent
3+ year’s beverage industry/flavor industry experience
Demonstrated technical track record in flavor application
Planning and organizing
Self -starter/operates autonomously with minimal or no supervision required
Ability to multi-task various project initiatives and work stages
Technical/professional knowledge and skills
Effective presentations skills
Written and oral communication skills
Experience/track record of building strategic network of working
Priority and decision making
Safe & ethical work standards
Ability to travel to other Firmenich sites in North
America and to West Coast customers
