Quality Assurance Technician - Clarion, IA
A Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for the inspection of all incoming materials/products and finished egg products. Quality Assurance participates in many functions in accordance with company standards, SQF, HACCP, and USDA regulatory requirements to ensure safety and quality of employees and products.
Essential Job Functions:
EDUCATION: High School diploma/GED; Associates Degree preferred
EXPERIENCE: Food Safety and quality assurance experienced in a food manufacturing for 2 years preferred
REQUIRED SKILLS: Ability to work independently. Basic knowledge of computer skills (e-mail, and Microsoft Office).
PREFERRED SKILLS: Knowledge in food processing/HACCP/SQF, and/or regulatory compliance strongly preferred, but not mandatory. Fluent in English language, bi-lingual preferred. Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed for vacations and peak periods.
