seeking an experienced Quality Assurance and Food Safety Manager to work at
its location in Saluda, SOUTH CAROLINA. The company was founded in 2012 and

This position provides
company-wide policy/direction for all related quality assurance and food
safety functions. The QA manager interfaces and supports all existing
quality and food safety programs and will ensure food safety/quality for
all products including raw materials and finished goods, tools and
facilities. The QA Manager will be fully involved with customers, end-user
complaints, raw materials suppliers, governments and third-party audits.
(Essential Job Functions)
∑ Responsible for all
quality and safety function for all Royafoods
products, facility and warehouse
∑ Collect, review and
record all daily production documents and paperwork and make sure all reports,
lot numbers are matching with RoyaFoods ERP
program (M1), traceable and acceptable for annual audit purpose.
∑ Direct associates
engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control
over ingredients, packaging, work-in-process (WIP), finished product, and
∑ Provide periodic
technical Food Safety training in areas such as Steps to Sanitary
Restoration, Chemical Usage, Documentation & Corrective Actions, GMPís
and any client-specific regulations
∑ Develop, implement and
manage a comprehensive cleaning and sanitation system for machinery, tools,
∑ Working closely with
the production team and frequent communication with quality control
employees to perform root cause analysis to resolve problems and issues.
∑ Responsible for the
knowledge, understanding, and enforcement of all company policies and
regulations. Works to ensure Royafoods Values,
Culture and policies are understood and followed by all employees.
∑ Ensure about food
safety documents for annual and semi-annual audits and develop, implement,
and maintain BRC and the food safety plan (HACCP programs), including
periodic verification of all critical control points.
∑ Responsible to
communicate with RoyaFoods suppliers to proceed
supplier approval process
∑ Design, promote, and
organize training programs related to food quality and food safety.
∑ Ensure plant audit
(Internal & External) corrective action plans are implemented in a
∑ Respond to food
safety-related concerns and complaints with corrective action reports.
∑ At least 4 years of
experience in Quality Assurance Management in food industry
∑ Must have experience
with, BRC, HACCP, GMP, USDA, FDA
∑ Previous experience in
Quality Assurance/Food Safety in Noodle, Pasta or Cookies food processing
environment is preferred.
∑ Experience working
with an ERP Program such as ECI M1 is required.
∑ Proficiency with
Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
∑ Strong interpersonal
and team player skills
∑ Strong verbal and
written communication skills.
∑ Spanish Speaking a
Required: Bachelorís degree in microbiology,
food safety, agricultural science or related field; or equivalent years of
demonstrated experience in the Food Safety field.
Preferred: Masterís degree or greater in
microbiology, food safety, agricultural science or related field
