SROriginals is seeking a talented Product Manager. This role will ensure baked good products are successfully commercialized from benchtop sample to market. The Product Manager will cross-functionally work with and act as a liaison between Innovation & Development, Commercialization, Sales, Marketing, Accounting, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain.

Duties & Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the commercialization process of a product throughout its entire life cycle.
  • Effectively communicate product commercialization details and expectations among all required team members in a timely fashion.
  • Coordinate several projects simultaneously between departments.
  • Monitor new products on an ongoing basis, including identifying and resolving issues.
  • Proactively manage changes in scope, identify potential risks, and create contingency plans.
  • Track pricing requests from start to finish and continually seek opportunities to reduce costs.
  • Track customer requests from start to finish.
  • Review, approve, and issue documentation and formulas; ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Create and approve labels.
  • Support the Innovation & Development department at pilot runs.


  • Minimum of an Associateís Degree in Food Science or Culinary studies.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years as Product Developer or Product Manager in food industry.
  • Basic level Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook, required.
  • Advanced reading and writing skills; ability to create both written and verbal reports, essential.
  • Must have a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment.
  • Must have a flexible schedule which will accommodate various production schedules.
  • Must be able to work independently and problem solve.
  • Performs assignments in accordance with established GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) policies and procedures.


  • Bachelorís Degree in Food Science or Culinary studies.
  • Previous food manufacturing or development experience.
