Job Summary

The Director of Food Safety / SQF Practitioner will develop and oversee all of the food safety regulations, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements (Local, State and Federal).

The successful candidate will help to develop, implement and enforce security and food safety standards, policies, and programs including HACCP, SQF, regulatory audits, food safety training programs, standard operating procedures (SOPís), product inspections, and standardized work instructions. Individual will also need to implement and oversee all new FSMA requirements.


  • Bachelors in Science, Food Science preferred
  • 2-3 yearsí experience in a similar role within the food industry
  • Professionally certified in HACCP and/or SQF
  • Must have excellent attention to detail
  • Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with ability to learn quickly
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Must be comfortable working in an open environment and collaborating across


  • Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends
  • Maintain high standards of ethics, integrity and honesty
