Working the 2nd Shift (2:45 PM-11:15 PM), the QC Chemist I tests materials for potency, identification and contaminants.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to handle testing equipment, raw materials and finished product, tools, or controls and communicate in person and on the telephone. The employee frequently is required to use his/her sense of taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to move from place to place within the facility, to reach, ascend and descend stairs, balance, or stoop, and move and install compressed gas cylinders and liquid nitrogen tanks. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision. Good manual dexterity is required.
