Functions

  • To maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture
  • Receive training as required
  • Perform various positions as required/assigned

 

Description

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

 

Tasks

Job consists of cleaning and sanitizing production equipment. Requirements include; standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are required. Lifting is required in many areas (weight depends on area.) These positions work in a wet, damp or hot, humid environment, and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces. All team members will be trained on cleaning solutions prior to starting job.

 

Requirements

Must be able to work in wet conditions, must be able to climb stairs and ladders, must be able to walk for long periods of time. Must be able to perform any job as assigned by Management. If an applicant meets Tyson's minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for an interview. Applicants who have worked for Tyson three times will not be considered.
