This position is responsible for
managing the food safety and quality risks for produce, at the field level.
The Field Food Safety Quality Manager will partner with key stakeholders to
evolve existing produce food safety programs and alignment quality
assessments and approaches within different growing regions. The Field Food
Safety Quality Manager will proactively work with exclusive brand suppliers
and suppliers to our manufacturing facility to build process controls to
reduce/eliminate food safety and quality risk failures to deliver with
excellence to our customers.

- B.Sc. in agriculture, plant science, crop and soil
science, food science, or other related field; or the equivalent of 4 -
additional years of related work experience
Auditor Certification in Primus GFS, Global G.A.P or similar preferred
of 5 years Food Safety Quality management experience in the fresh
produce sector (minimum of 9 years required if no Bachelor's
knowledge of FDA, FSMA and the Produce Rule, Good Agricultural Practices
and LGMA requirements
or training with pesticide use and management
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
organizational skills and ability to prioritize; required
interpersonal skills required, including the ability to interact across
multiple organizational levels
- Multilingual - English and Spanish
- Up to 20-30% travel - Some travel may be out of the country.
