This role is within the Instrumentation and Specialty Control's Brookfield
Engineering Business unit.
Viscometers, rheometers, texture analyzers and powder flow testers used in
R&D, QC and inline applications for rheological fluid analysis,
tension/compression analysis and powder flow analysis. Markets include food,
cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, personal care products, adhesives,
printing inks and coatings, paper coatings, chemicals, packaging, plastics,
construction materials, and asphalt.
Create and enforce a culture of safety within the organization. Implement
programs, policies, and assessments to ensure the company follows all federal
and internal health and safety rules.
Facilitate a safety culture transformation from reactive to proactive by
effectively influencing key stakeholders of the organization.
Succeed in reducing employee’s injuries by 40%.
Complete comprehensive facility safety audits and developed action plans to
address the gaps.
Provide required training for all employees as needed. Maintain and update
Responsible for JSA evaluation and update and machine safety risk analysis.
Conducts random site inspections, ensures and document safety violations,
corrected and initiates appropriate training to prevent recurrence.
Review EHS programs annually and updates plans as processes or applicable
Organize and maintain SDS database. Schedule relevant training as needed.
Perform other related duties as required or as directed.
Associate Degree and 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or
1+ years’ experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Ensure that work area and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe, and
orderly condition and established company policies and procedures are adhered
