Join us as our new Quality Specialist
As Quality Specialist, you will participate primarily in maintaining the
Quality department at Novozymes, as well as support and interface with other
Novozymes Facilities when appropriate. You will interact with all relevant
internal and external departments, customers, and authorities to assure
compliance to Novozymes' Quality programs including certifications and
regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with regional and global
counterparts to ensure consistency of critical processes. You will work with
local, regional, and global management teams and employees to direct global
quality initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:
- Participate in/Leading the Internal and
External Audit Programs for the site.
- Evaluate and Improve the site compliance
through routine internal audits.
- Prepare reports, communicate findings,
and maintain communication with auditees to ensure follow-up and closure
of audit findings.
- Support regional Audit Program as needed.
- Coordinate training for internal audit
resources.
- Interacting with all levels of organization
from operations to upper management within the region.
- Supporting FDA inspections and
certification audits for the site.
To succeed you must hold:
- BS degree, with a minimum of 3-5 years
related experience auditing Food and/or Feed safety management systems
is preferred.
- Lead Auditor training to ISO 9001, FSSC
22000/ISO 22000, and FAMI-QS Standards (as relevant)
- Familiarity with FDA regulatory
requirements for Human and Animal Food is preferred. Dietary Supplement,
Kosher, and Halal compliance knowledge is a plus.
- Strong analytical, advanced problem
solving, and root-cause identification skills with the ability to
participate in/lead teams to resolve issues.
- Excellent oral and written communication
skills, including strong interpersonal skills and the ability to
interface with a wide diversity of people.
- Extensive computer skills to include word
processing, sharepoint, and spreadsheets.
- Travel is a requirement of this position.
