Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories, a nationally recognized laboratory, is searching for a QC Analyst to support our Professional Scientific Staffing group in the Raleigh-Durham area, NC.

QC Analyst responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

·Perform tasks associated with release testing and reviewing laboratory data

·Ensure that the samples are collected, tested, and reviewed per applicable regulatory and corporate requirements

·Support the QC organization and QC laboratory testing

·Perform on call EM testing to support DCEs related to Pilot Plant operations

·Execute method validation and transfers for assigned assays if necessary

·Execute assigned testing per SOPs in the QC Chemistry/EM lab

·Ensure that the samples are tested according to quality requirements defined via registered specifications in accordance with local/international regulations

·Ensure results reported are valid, accurate and documented per applicable regulatory and corporate requirements

·Participates in lean lab operation, 6S laboratory layout, preventive action & continuous improvement programs to reduce operating costs

·GMP documentation in a production environnent

·Conducting and documenting investigations

·Use of electronic document management systems

·Use of Atlas document management system or equivalent

·Sample collection/distribution/testing/shipment

·Material receipt/testing

·Glass washing activities and restocking of supplies

The ideal candidate would possess:

·Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills

·Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail

·Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude

·Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

·Knowledge of GMPs, safety regulations, and data integrity preferred

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

·Bachelor's degree in scientific discipline or Associate’s degree and at least three years of industry experience or equivalent

·Knowledge of laboratory practices and instruments required

·Performs shift-work as necessary to support manufacturing operations

·Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina are encouraged to apply.
