Position Summary: Under limited
supervision researches, gathers data, develops preliminary findings and
prepares written reports for the development of new products beginning at
conception through successful commercialization. Contributes to the
creation, maintenance, and review of integrated recipes for new or existing
items that include: specifications, materials, formulas, equipment, quality
and process information for R&D, plant, co-pakers
and suppliers. Develops project timelines, creates technical
proposals and reports and makes recommendations.

product attributes of the target product.
product recipe changes and maintain accurate records of change.
finished product and processing specifications, including creation of
integrated recipes using SAP, ARAS, Oracle, GENESIS, Product Vision,
or other programs as needed, as well as the process for the
manufacture of product.
plan to collect analytical data to support NLEA Labeling requirements,
and implements nutritional labeling claims or certification processes
as needed on new or existing products.
product development schedules that are required to meet project
plant trials and new product start-ups independently
with cross functional team including sales, marketing, finance,
packaging and brand design, procurement, and manufacturing.
in Food Science or related field required. MS preferred
3 years experience
in Product Development or related field in a Food Company required
ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
in Microsoft Office Products.
understanding of food industry standards of quality and foods safety,
and FDA regulations.
in cereal science, with milling and pasta experience preferred.
to independently manage project work.
ability to communicate well and to effectively influence and interact
with others to accomplish research goals.
to 25% travel including flying in US, possibly overseas. Must be
able to travel independently and as a responsible ConAgra Foods, Inc.

standing, or sitting for extended periods of time
and/or standing on various surface types
(note approximate weight and frequency, e.g. ability to lift 25 lbs on a regular basis, ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a sporadic basis)

include: loud noise, excessive heat, cold, wet, and slippery
bending and/or crawling; must be able to move safely and freely around
a company or rental vehicle for up to 5 hours as needed
