Quality Systems Manager - Kargher Chocolate – Hatfield, PA

To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:

Science based bachelor’s degree, masters in food science preferred. Work experience in a food manufacturing environment in quality control or quality assurance.

You will be required to manage quality systems for compliance with Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) FDA, GMP, HACCP, SQF/BRC, customer and third party quality and food safety audit requirements.

Including but not limited to;

Management of controlled documentation, including the creation, collaboration and control of documentation such as SOP's, COA's and other forms.

Manage customer complaints including documentation, investigation and analysis, associated corrective actions and preventive actions and response to the customer.

Facilitate audits, monitor quality assurance programs including the daily inspection of incoming materials and the quality manufactured products.

Responsible for monitoring and evaluating our plants daily operations including both processing and packaging. Responsible for issuing documents for food safety, food defense, overall quality, weight control and GMP’s. The goal of this position is to assure products meet specifications, facility is in compliance with GFSI Food Standards and to uphold our quality standards.

Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computers and business related software.

Demonstrated ability to manage several activities/projects at once, to organize and prioritize work, to stay current with assigned workload and to problem solve.

Demonstrated ability to be mobile in the work environment.

Knowledge of statistics is desirable.

Ability to lead and be self-directed.

Be accountable, have integrity and a can do attitude.
