Food Safety and Quality Specialist (2nd Shift) - (141673) – MN - Melrose
The Land O’Lakes Supply Chain & Operations division provides strategic leadership across the company’s many business units. The team plays a significant role in fueling revenue growth and profitability through operational excellence, quality, process improvement and innovation. By partnering closely with Finance, Marketing and Human Resources, the team delivers value to Land O’Lakes business units, members and customers.
As a Food Safety and Quality Specialist who is accountable for sanitation efforts in our cheese manufacturing facility in Melrose, MN, you are responsible for management and coordination of the sanitation processes involved in the manufacturing of barrel cheese and bi-products to consistently and reliably meet Land O Lakes’ standards and customer requirements. Effectively coordinates and utilizes available resources to formulate action plans for process and quality improvements including employee safety, regulatory requirements, cost reduction, etc.
This individual will fully support all programs including LQMS, BRC, LPS and LMS. Upholds and demonstrates Melrose Dairy Proteins values and vision. Adhere to all guidelines addressed in the Management Responsibility Program.
Ensure all activity associated with Sanitation is being completed and will develop/modify the schedule for all sanitation activity.
This is a rotating shift position primarily working night shift.
