Job Description

 

        Development of new chicken and other meat products and their line extensions from bench top to commercialization for Food Service and Corporate Accounts

        Develop and maintain product specifications in SAP

        Provide assistance for start up operations and test runs

        Formulate cost reduced versions of existing products

        Assist in the evaluation of new technology and processes

        Document all testing procedures and prepare recommended production procedures

        Interact with other departments such as QA, Production, Scheduling, Marketing to assure a successful project by being an integral member of cross functional teams

        Highly motivated and ability to initiate and complete projects as required

        Conduct cooking and heating validations to ensure food safety on label declarations as governed by policies

 

 

Requirements:

 

        BS in Food Science or related field plus 1-3years of relevant work experience. Production and plant experience highly preferred

        Familiarity with PLM and RD modules in SAP highly preferred

        Travel up to 40% of time.

        Ability to manage multiple projects

        Effective computer, presentation and communication skills.
