We have an exciting opportunity for a Part-TimeFood Technologist with experience working with various proteins,
starch, and flavor systems for the food, beverage and nutritional markets.

blends and ingredient systems.
Essential job functions
Work closely with sales and
customers to provide technical support utilizing a solutions oriented
nutritional and label claims required by customer.
Identifying where new
ingredients are suitable and working with purchasing to obtain
ingredients that meet all requirements.
evaluations including information on functionality and applications.
Participation in meetings,
conference calls, pilot plant and production trials.
Develop creative protein
blends, concepts and applications in new combinations to apply to
food, beverage and nutritional markets.
Replicate products and
protein blends which already exist in the marketplace.
Assist in technical training,
communication, presentations or representation of the company for
internal and external purposes.
Learn Pilot Plant operations
to assist in prototype development.
What you need for this position
Bachelorís Degree in Food
Science or a closely related Applied Science.
Minimum 2 years of experience
in the Food Ingredients Industry.
Preferred experience in
developing various protein systems for food applications.
Demonstrated understanding of
product development, processing, protein/ingredient technologies.
