Job Description
The Food Technologist will provide expertise in a range of areas to include supporting innovation initiatives, executing sensory experiments and specification guidance for new and existing raw materials.  This position is highly analytical and collaborative.  Key partners include Marketing, R&D, Procurement and external suppliers.  A successful person in this role will be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical people.

Basic Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree

·         2 years of experience in the food industry

·         Proficiency in MS Excel, Power Point and Word

·         Experience using statistical methods to analyze data, write reports and provide recommendations

·         Experience managing multiple complex projects concurrently 

Preferred Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in Food Science

·         Experience using industry recognized sensory software program (Compusense)

·         Able to support development of effective processes and systems to manage department objectives

·         Work experience in sensory research

·         Database development and management

·         Detail oriented

·         Ability to work independently and within team environment
