has an immediate opportunity for an Assistant Brewing Manager
Assistant Brewing Manager is responsible for the operation and manufacture
of Boston Beer Company products within the Brewing Department. This
includes meeting safety standards, GMP standards, quality specifications,
and operational efficiencies. In addition, as part of the Brewing
Team, the Assistant Brewing Manager will focus on supporting project
implementation and brewery troubleshooting.

evaluates job activities to determine correct use of prescribed safety
equipment and proper work procedures.
- Provides input for production
schedules for the brewhouse, wort cooling and fassing
portion of the cold process operations for the department.
- Manages and supervises the
flow of materials and utilization of labor to ensure adequate
production of required quality to fulfill production requirements.
- Recommends to Brewing Manager
and/or makes improvements to machinery, equipment, processes and
facilities affecting quality, efficiency or GMPs in the department.
- Controls allocation and use
of personnel to ensure fulfillment of production schedules and meet
required GMPs in all areas of the department with minimal overtime.
- Directs operation of all
department areas and guides supervisors in the performance of their

- Meets with vendors,
customers, quality representatives and Company personnel to discuss
and resolve quality problems as required.
- Assists in the effort to
provide technical training and guidance to management and team members
within the brewing area.
- Communicate effectively with management and
Be Mixed With:
- Minimum of a Bachelorís degree in a
field relevant to brewing (Biology, Chemistry, Fermentation Science,
Chem. Eng., Mech. Eng.); or Brewers Diploma/Certification required.
- Minimum of five (5) years
experience in manufacturing industry within the brewing field.
- Ability to manage a large number of people and
