Role / Title

This is an Omaha based position with some travel to Lincoln required. The scientist will execute projects across grocery, frozen and refrigerated platforms for national and international customers. The scientist will lead tests, analyze data, communicate conclusions to the internal business team and help to launch and maintain our products in the marketplace. The candidate should thrive in a fast paced environment and should handle multiple concurrent projects with varying timelines.

  • Commercialize products, working closely with production plants
  • Use innovative approaches and culinary skills to solve problems
  • Set and meet timelines and all deadlines with multiple projects
  • Create specifications and update, with attention to detail
  • Promote and supports company policies and values


  • Bachelor degree in Food Science, Food Technology with an understanding of food chemistry, food safety, and food production
  • Technical professional experience, including internships
  • Ability and interest to work in laboratory, kitchen, pilot plant and manufacturing environments
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Manage multiple assignments concurrently
  • Pass drug screen and background check
  • PC word processing and spreadsheet software
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%
