Product Developer is responsible for all aspects of assigned new product
development, which includes product formulation and scale up, managing
shelf life studies, test methods development, communication with key
suppliers and consultants, new ingredients investigation and evaluation,
working with Operations and Quality to support new product
commercialization activities, and other duties as required.
Responsible for the formulation and shelf life
testing of new product prototypes, data recording and analysis, reporting
of results and trends.
Acts as a knowledge resource for others working in the
Product Development Lab.
Leads manufacturing trials at GMCR, Essex and other
facilities. Creates document standards as well as organize and
maintain R&D information in a master filing plan.
Acts as communication liaison with other departments
supporting new product development and take leadership role in New Product
cross-functional team meetings.
Responsibility for providing leadership and coaching
to others working in the Product Development Lab as needed.
Communicates with all internal and external customers
(e.g. Keurig) and suppliers.
Keeps track of all work activities completed and
communicate in bi-weekly memo to Product Development Mgr.
Follows all policies, procedures, ergonomic standards
and safety requirements directed by GMCR and the department.
Performs other duties as requested by management.
