Job Requirements
- B.S. Food
Science, 1+ years of work experience in Applications, Flavor
Creation, Product Development, or related area
- Knowledge
of flavors technology, flavor creation, flavor systems and
flavor chemistry
- Familiarity
with flavors and essential oils
- Identification
of aroma compounds
- QC
procedures – testing, collecting and analyzing data
- Application
in foods, flavor retention and changes during food processing
and storage.
- Flavor
interactions with food components and packaging materials and
flavor release.
- Energetic
and creative with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be
computer literate -Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for word
processing, spreadsheets and database applications; as well as
Internet research capable.
- Organoleptic
or Sensory experience a plus
