The International Food Information Council (IFIC) has just released its 2009 Food & Health Survey: Consumer Attitudes toward Food, Nutrition, & Healthóa nationally representative, quantitative study designed to gain insights from consumers on various food safety, nutrition, and health-related topics. Due to the number and relevance of food safety issues that have occurred in the past year, a key finding of the report deals with consumersí perception of food safety and the precautions they take.
