Experienced Sanitation Manager needed for this well-known, dynamic,
nationwide food company in Calabasas. Will supervise and coordinate the
sanitation efforts within the processing facility, maintain GMP
provisions that relate to cleanliness, sanitation and pest control, aid in
the administration of biological monitoring procedures to determine the
efficacy of sanitation methods, monitor employee practices to aid in a
pest-free environment, maintain a supply of cleaning chemicals necessary
for operation of the cleaning program and in compliance with FIFRA, OSHA,
and FDA regulations, manage operations to maintain a SUPERIOR rating from
the annual AIB inspection, develop and implement new methods, procedures,
and systems to improve quality performance, develop and maintain training
and development programs that support key performance goals for the
Company, as well as provide a satisfying and rewarding work environment
for employees, and manage operation to comply with all applicable safety
laws and regulations, as well as Company safety policies, procedures and
standards. A B.A. or B.S. degree in the field of science (i.e. Biology,
Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science or Technology) and 4 years minimum
sanitation management experience in food manufacturing, preferably in the
bakery/dessert industry required. Must have strong quantitative and
interpersonal skills, the ability to think critically, and the ability to
effectively plan, organize and prioritize work. Excellent verbal and
written communication skills also desired. Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
