NMA to host food safety assessment workshop

The National Meat Association announced it is hosting a workshop Aug. 28 in Denver about preparing for a food safety assessment and how to respond to findings.

The workshop, led by Mickey McEvers of the HACCP Consulting Group, will cover topics including the role of the EIAO, the EIAO's in-plant activities, written procedures, available records, outcome and results, and observations and comments.
