Responsibilities:

-
Manages the restaurant Food Safety Audit Program
- Partners with restaurant managers and suppliers to resolve food safety and quality issues (e.g. foreign objects)
- Provides food safety education for restaurant managers and field operations teams
- Assist in reviewing and reporting on supplier's Key Performance indicators


Requirements:

- Education: BS in Food Science, Public Health, Environmental Health, Microbiology, Biology, or related field. Registered Sanitarian (RS) or REHS preferred
- Experience:
3-5 years in food safety auditing, public health or related industry experience
- Skills & Knowledge: Familiarity with food safety auditing principles and practices, and food manufacturing programs (e.g., GMPs, SOPs, HACCP). Food safety training experience is a plus
- Abilities: Must be able to manage multiple projects and interact well with a variety of internal and external partners

Success Measurements:


- Support restaurant managers and field operators by following up on food safety related questions and concerns within 24 hours
- Improve food safety audit scores and reduce the number of guest complaints by providing on-going coaching and training to restaurant managers

Reduce the number of foreign objects incidents by developing and sharing Foreign Object Incident Reports, conducting investigations and following up on corrective actions with restaurants and suppliers (as needed)
- Provide accurate measurements of food manufacturer’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Investigate food safety and quality complaints as needed
