As a Starbucks manager, you will elevate food safety and quality programs. Your contributions to Starbucks success will include the planning and establishment of a complex, multi-year, multifaceted program frequently including IT components. You will provide professional guidance and leadership to technical project teams and realize the strategic business vision.

As a program manager, you will…

  • Consult and articulate a vision and business case resulting in program charters that support the strategic agenda focused on elevating safety and quality of Starbucks partners and customers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business partners, Information Technology partners, suppliers and other teams to ensure successful execution of the program.
  • Develop an integrated plan that includes program deliverables, strategic alignment, enterprise-wide impacts, milestones, risks, assumptions, constraints and overall program success.
  • Effectively Communicate program status to participants and stakeholders accurately. Escalates to ensure issues are resolved, as needed. Ensures program governance.

 

We’d love to hear from people with:

  • Experience in managing complex projects while integrating business processes
  • Demonstrated track record for curiosity and customer centricity
  • Strong problem solving, communication and analytical skills

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 6 - 8 years of leadership experience in technical program management role with a minimum of five years of proven experience in food safety and quality assurance
  • At least 3 years of experience and proficiency in managing complex programs
  • Undergraduate or advanced degree in a technical discipline combined with business acumen
