As a Food Safety Supervisor at our Rossville plant, you
will ensure the development, compliance and certification of food safety
programs. In this role, you will manage inspections, audits, traceability,
testing, microbial program compliance and more. Your attention to detail and

HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Compliance is Key – You will be
responsible for ensuring microbial program & sanitation compliance.
You will also be accountable for HACCP as well as quality & food
safety training for the facility to ensure said compliance &
execution of required programs.
- Program Management – You will ensure allergen program management and compliance by key
traceability, inspection program management & the delivery of
established metrics.
- Continuous Improvement Focused – Bring your owner’s mindset to the table in this role as your help
drive CI initiatives forward. You will work with corporate partners to
execute company programs as well as ensure the adherence &
achievement of plant SOP’s & KPI’s.
- Safety First – Adhering to the required quality & food safety laws,
regulations, corporate policies & practices will fall in your lap.
You will also support the coordination & preparation for all
internal & third-party audits.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Required:
High School Diploma or GED with substantial related proven leadership
and supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting
- HACCP and PCQI certification through
technical knowledge of quality & food safety and GFSI program
- Strong understanding of applicable
regulations, GMP and Food Safety standards in accordance with regulatory
bodies (FDA, USDA, CFIA, etc)
- Strong technical aptitude along with
proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with SAP
- Experience within a manufacturing
environment
Bonus Points:
BS degree in food science, microbiology, with significant experience in
quality & food safety
- Food defense certification
- Significant knowledge of food processing
and packaging
- Experience in auditing and Safe Quality
Food (SQF) requirements
- SQF Practitioner
- Union experience
