JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT
The Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory Superintendent will implement our
food safety management systems and ensure compliance with regulatory and food
safety requirements at the Round Rock, TX facility. We seek a professional
with the cross-functional teamwork skills to support our leadership team with
thorough scientific understanding of quality assurance and food and feed
safety technology and processes in the following: testing and auditing
documentation, data collection and analysis and knowledge transfer. In this
role you will provide team leadership to find solutions for food safety and
quality concerns.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Implement and maintain food safety and HACCP plans, customer standards,
address customers' needs, and to meet standards and expectations.
Ensure accurate documentation of audit and test data.
Analyze internal and external food safety quality and regulatory policies and
practices to identify and lead continuous improvement as the food safety team
leader
Conduct complex new product trials and troubleshooting to provide knowledge
and add value to our products, processes and equipment.
Lead the facility through third party and customer food safety audits. Processes
Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent
management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of four years of related food or feed industry work experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Food Science, Animal Science, Science or related field or technical
knowledge
Two years of supervisory experience
Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to achieve results with cross
functional team
Food Safety Auditing Certification
HACCP Certification
