We are looking for a Scientist to join the EYE Category
and support the Consumer Beauty Division. You will work in the EYE R&D
Product Development team to design and develop new products from insights to
global distribution.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Assisting with cross-functional internal and external partners in designing
eye products that deliver superior consumer performance
Strong project management within Stage Gate process for new internal and
external product development to deliver key milestones.
Supporting end-to-end development including technical briefs, communication
across functional teams, experimental design and establishing validation
plans with support.
Help facilitate and support technically sound decisions based on research,
data, and consumer insights. Interpret and integrate multiple information to
draw conclusions and do risk assessments.
Aptitude and agility to learn how to translate consumer needs and insights
into technical parameters and approaches
Ability to work across R&D disciplines (process, analytical, packaging,
TPM, procurement, etc..) as well as multifunctional teams to enable and drive
projects forward.
Building and understanding the competitive landscape and identifying consumer
need gaps to develop the next generation of cosmetic product.
Comply with all company policies, procedures, safety, and GMP
We’d love to see candidates who have:
B.S. in chemistry or related science field
Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant industry experience in consumer goods
(makeup, paints/coatings, food…)
Project management skills with a record of delivering to set milestones.
Ability to manage multiple activities and priorities.
Ability to translate consumer needs into technical deliverables
Ability to identify and solve problems
Excellent communication skills, both written and ora
l
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to communicate science and technology to a non-technical community
Team player and exhibit a “can do” attitude
Strong communication and presentation skills
