Division of Agriculture of the University of Arkansas The University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture is a state wide campus, with faculty based on University
campuses, at Research and Extension Centers and in every Arkansas county. It
consists of the Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station (AES) and the
Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service (CES), and is home to more than 1400
employees. The Division was established in 1959 and is headed by the
Vice-President for Agriculture. The Division headquarters is located in

The successful candidate will serve as the laboratory
organizational manager, assist graduate students with research projects,
perform literature reviews, conduct experiments to support new and ongoing
projects, collect and analyze data, edit documents, and write reports and
journal articles.
Minimum Qualifications : This position requires a Bachelor of Science degree in food
science, microbiology, agricultural engineering, food engineering, or related
scientific discipline. General microbiological and chemistry laboratory
skills are required. Preferred Qualifications : Master of Science Degree in Food Science or related area.
Experience in fermentation and the use of analytical equipment, specifically
HPLC. Practical experience with bioreactors is a plus.
Commensurate with education and experience.
