We have an entrepreneurial spirit that's brought us a lot of success and we're looking for a Food Safety/QA Regulatory Specialist to join the team. Our perfect candidate will thrive in a fun and casual environment, pay it forward daily, and add value to the company by maintaining the Food Safety and Quality Manual Document Management Process, maintaining HBH nutritional information, maintaining Supplier Quality records, providing Regulatory support to our Retail stores and manufacturing facility and coordinating 3rd party food safety vendor's billing and records.

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Maintain the Food Safety and Quality Manual Document Management Process including the creation, updating, and approval of the HBH Quality and Food Safety Documents.
  • Maintain HBH nutritional and labeling information such as the HBH allergen matrix, Nutritionix website, scale labels, and HUB resources.
  • Maintain Supplier Quality records including tracking supplier GFSI certification status, last HBH assessment, corrective action status, etc...
  • Coordinate 3rd party food safety vendor's (auditing, pest, nutrition) billing and records.
  • Trend remote temperature monitoring data.
  • Participate in Food Safety consumer complaint and illness process.
  • Prepare routine and ad-hoc quality measures and trend reports and presentations.
  • Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data.
  • Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation.

YOUR TRACK RECORD

3+ years of quality, food safety and regulatory experience. Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biological/Physical Science or Engineering. Familiarity with FDA Food Code, FDA and USDA nutrition labeling requirements and good knowledge of Microsoft Office products and databases.
