At Nestlé Purina PetCare, we’re a “safety first” culture, driven by a zero accident, zero defect, zero waste mentality. As Sr. Technician Factory Quality, you will conduct routine audits of the factory and outside storage facilities including food safety and the warehouse. You will also function as a resource in the development, coordination and administering of food defense.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with quality assurance management and operations department to create and maintain a sustainable HACCP and food safety program
  • Coordinate and participate in external and internal factory audits
  • Maintain up to date working knowledge and skill levels in all areas of food safety
  • Be able to develop and deliver training related to food defense

 

Basic Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Experience (Years/Type): 2+ years of internal/external auditing and HACCP coordination in a food manufacturing, industrial or related environment OR a 2-year degree in food science, biology, chemistry, or a related field
