We are looking for a Food Safety Escalations Manager to join our team.
Our vision for Food Safety is to support Amazon’s mission of offering the
widest selection of products available, while protecting customers from
potentially hazardous products. We are looking for a dynamic, organized
self-starter to join our Worldwide Food Safety and Compliance department as
an Escalations Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a highly

Key job responsibilities
- Develop and
enhance the Food Safety Escalations program for Amazon operational
facilities and stores.
- Lead all
food-related escalations with respect to Amazon operational facilities
and stores.
- Lead
communication of all high-severity events to internal leadership and
stakeholders pursuant to Food Safety Escalations protocols.
- Risk assess
Food Safety Escalations protocols for operational sites and stores.
- Write
policies, standards, and SOPs for remediation of high severity food-related
events; create and implement training programs to drive compliance
execution at the site level.
- Support
training of operations and business teams and relevant stakeholders
through table top exercises.
- Write and edit
business review documents to update business and operations stakeholders
about Food Safety Escalations initiatives.
- Create and
monitor metrics to track compliance and process effectiveness and define
cadence of reporting to businesses and stakeholder groups.
About
the team
The NA Food Safety Escalations Team drives food safety and regulatory
compliance across Amazon’s North American food businesses, protecting
customers and associates from hazards related to consumption of an Amazon
branded food product, exposure in an Amazon retail store or facility, or
exposure from a delivered food product.

The pay range for this position in
Colorado is $98,000 to 148,000/yr; however, base
pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and
experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as
part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical,
financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This
information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act. Base pay information
